The High Courses of Scriptwriters and Film Directors (Russian: ?????? ????? ??????????? ? ?????????? (????)) is an independent from the state educational establishment in Russia which offers graduate education, as well as second graduate professional education in cinematography. Established in 1963 in the Soviet Union, but tracing its history back to 1956, the Higher Courses is the oldest school in Russia for people with higher education to provide professional education in major cinematographic occupations: film director, scriptwriter and producer.
